About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Business Analyst for a 12-month contract at a prominent public sector organisation based in Dún Laoghaire, Co. Dublin. The position offers a hybrid working pattern with three days remote and two days onsite, commencing September 2026, with a competitive day rate of 350 EUR and the possibility of contract extension. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for critical business applications in a live production environment.

  • Manage support tickets through tools such as ServiceNow or Jira, ensuring compliance with service level agreements.
  • Assist users internally and externally by resolving issues, conducting onboarding sessions, delivering training, and creating user documentation.
  • Configure and maintain grant management or case management systems, including the introduction of new schemes and system improvements.
  • Participate in full project lifecycles, covering requirements collection, solution setup, testing (including UAT), and deployment phases.
  • Support data migration efforts such as mapping, transforming, validating, reconciling, and quality controlling data.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements clearly and precisely.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to identify and implement process enhancements.
  • Contribute to the development and upkeep of Power BI reports and dashboards.
