Role Overview
As a Junior Account Manager, you will be key in driving sales initiatives, establishing strategic partnerships, and growing the company’s client network within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Increase and strengthen RateHawk’s footprint within your designated region.
- Manage and nurture relationships with existing partners such as tour operators, travel agencies, travel management companies, and online travel agencies (OTAs) to drive performance.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to discover and expand business opportunities.
- Conduct training sessions for current and prospective partners to improve their use of our systems.
- Promote the company’s brand through product presentations and participation in networking events within the travel industry.
- Resolve issues raised by partners to ensure seamless support.
- Monitor and verify payment transactions to ensure their accuracy.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to provide insights.
- Deliver consistent and detailed reports using CRM and internal tools.
Requirements
- At least one year of proven success in account or customer management or business development within B2B travel companies.
- Good understanding of the travel market in the region, including interactions between tour operators, travel agencies, travel management companies, and OTAs.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Spanish is advantageous; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong analytical capabilities, comfortable working with data and metrics to guide decisions.
- Driven, proactive, goal-oriented personality with enthusiasm for technology and adaptability to a dynamic environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within diverse cultural contexts reflecting a global team.
