IT Technician

Role overview

Tuwaiq Casting & Forging Company is looking for a proactive IT Technician to support its IT Service Delivery Division. The position focuses on delivering frontline technical assistance to staff and users so that daily technology operations remain stable and efficient.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the initial point of contact for IT support requests from employees and end-users.
• Set up, maintain, and resolve issues related to computers, printers, and other IT hardware.
• Help troubleshoot problems connected to network access, internet usage, and Wi‑Fi connectivity.
• Support application installation, software updates, and antivirus administration.
• Keep IT stock and equipment records accurate and up to date.
• Track service desk requests and address them promptly.
• Carry out regular checks on system backups and data backup status.
• Follow company IT standards, policies, and procedures in all daily work.

Qualifications and experience

A diploma or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline is required. Candidates with 1 to 2 years of relevant hands-on experience are preferred.

Technical and behavioral strengths

The ideal candidate should understand basic computer hardware and troubleshooting, have a working knowledge of networking fundamentals such as LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, and Wi‑Fi, and be comfortable using Microsoft Office 365. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset are also important for this role.
