Role overview
We are seeking a customer-oriented IT Support Specialist to join a remote team on a full-time basis. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about technology and ready to start building a career in information technology.
The position focuses on helping users with technical issues from a remote setting, supporting the stability and day-to-day performance of systems and services across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Handle support queries submitted through email, chat, phone, and ticketing tools.
- Investigate and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Help users with login problems, password resets, account access, and system setup.
- Assist with software installation, device configuration, and routine upkeep tasks.
- Record issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions clearly and accurately.
- Escalate complicated technical matters to senior IT team members when needed.
- Support ongoing improvements to helpdesk processes and the overall user experience.
Required profile
Applicants should have a fundamental understanding of computers, operating systems, and commonly used productivity applications. Familiarity with Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, remote support tools, and basic networking principles will be considered an advantage.
Strong written and verbal communication, practical problem-solving ability, and a service-first attitude are important for success in this role. Prior exposure to IT support, service desk work, customer service, or technical troubleshooting is helpful but not mandatory.
