Role overview
Folk Maritime is looking for an IT Support Analyst to keep workplace technology running smoothly, assist employees with day-to-day technical issues, and help maintain reliable office operations across its locations. This role suits someone who enjoys solving problems, supporting users, and working in a fast-moving environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver day-to-day technical assistance to staff and support office systems.
- Prepare laptops, devices, and user accounts for new employees joining the company.
- Track, organize, and maintain IT equipment and inventory records.
- Diagnose and resolve problems related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Work with vendors and internal stakeholders to close IT support requests efficiently.
Requirements
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar discipline.
- Between 2 and 4 years of hands-on experience in IT support, service desk, desktop support, or end-user support.
- Practical exposure to device provisioning, user assistance, access control, and everyday troubleshooting tasks.
- Strong analytical ability and a customer-focused approach to support.
- Comfortable communicating in English and Arabic is an advantage.
- Able to perform well in a busy, changing business setting.
