About the Role

Thermosash Commercial Limited is looking for a seasoned IT Programme Manager to lead and synchronize various IT projects at their Henderson location in Auckland. This pivotal position involves aligning IT efforts with the broader business goals while ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within allocated budgets. The successful candidate will drive project achievements and encourage effective collaboration among participating teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the planning and execution of multiple IT programmes and projects.
• Coordinate cross-departmental teams to meet project milestones efficiently.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation for optimum results.
• Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies related to project delivery.
• Provide regular project progress updates to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
• Ensure projects comply with established methodologies and best practices.
• Organize meetings and workshops to collect requirements and gather feedback.
• Assist in preparing detailed project documentation and reporting materials.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possess a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in an IT Programme Manager or equivalent project management position.
• Comprehensive knowledge of project management frameworks such as Agile and Waterfall.
• Strong leadership qualities and proficient in managing teams.
• Experienced with project management software and tools.
• Adept at analytical thinking and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Capable of handling pressure and juggling multiple priorities simultaneously.
