Overview

We are seeking a driven Inventory Performance Analyst to become a vital member of our Central Operations Team. This role centers on monitoring and enhancing store inventory metrics, collaborating with various stakeholders to optimize stock availability and display efficiency while ensuring operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track and evaluate store inventory indicators such as open box items, clearance stock, pullback, and overall stock availability on a daily and weekly basis to highlight trends and improvement areas.
  • Perform weekly and monthly assessments of inventory health, providing actionable insights to drive performance enhancement and inventory optimization projects.
  • Support optimization of store ranges and display effectiveness through analytical insights and adherence to defined standards, collaborating with stakeholders on a monthly to quarterly schedule.
  • Assess the utilization of display space across product categories monthly and suggest improvements where necessary.
  • Create and maintain detailed reports and dashboards on inventory performance to assist the Central Operations team.
  • Deliver monthly and quarterly presentations on vital inventory performance points, risks, and opportunities to management.
  • Conduct weekly reviews of store inventory outcomes with Store and Regional Managers, identify performance gaps, and suggest corrective measures including coordination with Commercial or Supply Chain departments.
  • Serve as a continuous performance support advisor to store and regional teams by sharing expertise, insights, and best practices.
  • Lead and contribute to improvement and automation projects focusing on inventory workflows for greater efficiency, accuracy, and transparency, with timelines ranging from project-based to quarterly.
  • Manage the availability of operational supplies such as inks, printers, shopping bags, uniforms, signage paper, ESL materials, security materials, and shopping trolleys daily and weekly to guarantee store readiness.

Qualifications & Skills

  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Retail Management, or a closely related discipline is required.
  • Possess 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in retail operations, inventory management, or roles supporting store performance.
  • Comprehensive understanding of inventory performance metrics and multi-store retail operations.
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting, including familiarity with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
