Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee inventory cycle counts—monthly, quarterly, annually—and participate in physical counts and audits.
  • Investigate and address any inventory discrepancies, analyze root causes, and finalize related non-conformance reports (NCRs).
  • Drive improvements in inventory management processes aimed at achieving departmental key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Precisely process and control inbound and outbound inventory, ensuring orders are labeled, staged, shipped, and documented in line with company protocols.
  • Enter received inventory data into the ERP system promptly and accurately.
  • Organize and maintain storage of inventory to ensure all items are clean, properly tagged, and securely packaged.
  • Pick orders and load/unload trailers safely and efficiently.
  • Generate logistics dashboards and graphical reports to monitor operations and uncover improvement opportunities.
  • Provide cross-functional support, stepping in for the Transportation Coordinator or Shipper/Receiver when needed to maintain business continuity.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Background in inventory management, logistics, or warehouse operations is considered advantageous.
  • Current forklift certification is mandatory; prior use of stand-up high-reach forklifts is a plus.
  • Demonstrated success working in high-paced warehouse environments.
  • Strong communication abilities, fostering cooperative relationships with colleagues and supporting a safety-minded workplace.
  • Keen attention to detail and effective prioritization skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, notably Excel and Word, for data organization and analysis.
  • Commitment to process optimization and continuous improvement.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual salary ranges from $48,000 to $54,000 CAD.
  • Monthly profit sharing program.
  • 3 weeks starting vacation per year.
  • Pension plan with employer RRSP matching.
  • Extended health and dental insurance coverage.
  • Special day off annually for volunteering.
  • Support for continued education through employee assistance programs.
  • Inclusive, engaging, and supportive work culture—no rotating shifts required.
