Job Overview
The Inventory Analyst will be responsible for maintaining an updated and accurate supply chain system in collaboration with relevant stakeholders. This role supports decision-making by analyzing supply chain performance, participating in management meetings, and generating reports. Efficient inventory control will be ensured in compliance with ISO and safety policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate monthly closing reports covering all monthly transactions and coordinate with warehouses and stakeholders to ensure timely completion of pending transactions.
- Assist with the annual inventory count by archiving necessary documents, coordinating with warehouses and stakeholders, and ensuring accuracy of year-end documents followed by issuing the annual count report.
- Update item prices, quantities, and expiry dates in the system based on authorized requests to maintain data accuracy.
- Monitor and report on the progress of action plans across Supply Chain departments, communicating updates to management to achieve set targets.
- Process invoice cancellations and transfer of retail stock back to warehouses within the system according to approved requests, optimizing resource utilization.
- Adhere strictly to ISO and safety procedures to uphold certification standards and ensure a safe working environment.
- Analyze and report on Supply Chain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) regularly to control operations, identify improvement areas, and aid decision-making.
- Participate in periodic management meetings by consolidating Supply Chain department presentations, tracking action plans, and presenting KPIs to reflect overall department performance.
- Perform additional duties as assigned beyond the listed accountabilities.
Work Environment and Schedule
- Work is indoors 100% of the time.
- The role requires five working days per week with two designated days off.
- Working hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possess a Bachelor of Science degree or Diploma (minimum 2 years).
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or inventory management applications.
- Fluency in English and Arabic languages.
