Role Overview

The Merchandise Allocator plays a critical role in managing store inventory by utilizing data-driven strategies to align stock levels with business objectives and ensure an excellent guest experience from studio to street. This position requires close collaboration across departments to translate insights into actionable plans, adapt to shifting priorities, and maintain optimal inventory health to boost sales and financial results.

Primary Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor and analyze store inventory to maintain balance with business goals
• Apply data insights to adjust inventory, preventing stockouts, split shipments, and excess inventory
• Interpret complex data and effectively communicate findings for cross-functional action plans
• Build and maintain positive communication with multiple teams to ensure alignment on priorities
• Coordinate inventory planning in accordance with critical calendar milestones and business changes
• Investigate and address discrepancies between physical inventory and system records
• Identify system and process improvement opportunities to enhance inventory management
• Collaborate with teams such as Merchandise Planning, Buying, Visual Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Store Planning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred
• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in inventory management, supply chain analytics, or closely related roles
• Proven ability to work productively across multiple departments and handle competing priorities
• Strong numerical aptitude with knowledge in retail math and forecasting techniques
• Advanced proficiency in Excel formulas, including vlookups, sumif, pivot tables, index match, and logical functions
• Logical analytical skills with problem-solving capabilities
• Understanding of financial metrics and how to influence them effectively
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with active listening
• Ability to motivate and collaborate effectively within teams
• Experience with Tableau is advantageous

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this role ranges from $75,000 to $90,000 annually, dependent on factors such as location, skills, and performance. Compensation may extend beyond this range based on candidate qualifications. Additional company benefits include performance bonuses, long-term incentives, paid time off, and other progressive rewards, forming part of a comprehensive total rewards package.

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Beverly Hills, California. The role emphasizes a data-driven and collaborative approach to ensure inventory efficiency and financial performance.
