Role Overview
This full-time, on-site Insurance Specialist position, located in the Riyadh Region, involves overseeing insurance-related workflows within Innova Pharmacy. The incumbent handles verifying insurance coverage, processing claims and approvals, and collaborating with insurers and brokers to ensure timely and precise reimbursement. The role also requires supporting clients with insurance questions, clarifying coverage details, and settling prescription and healthcare service concerns. Coordination with finance and pharmacy departments is essential for accurate record-keeping, reconciling insurance transactions, and adhering to applicable policies and regulations. The position demands thorough documentation, persistent follow-up of pending claims, and initiatives to improve processes enhancing customer experience and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer insurance policies encompassing additions, deletions, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations.
- Generate and negotiate insurance quotations guided by client needs and underwriting principles.
- Obtain, evaluate, and maintain loss run reports aiding policy renewals and risk evaluations.
- Coordinate with insurance companies, brokers, and clients ensuring prompt policy issuance and updates.
- Maintain accurate policy records ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
- Follow up on outstanding quotations, policy changes, and required documentation.
- Monitor premium payments and support collections through client follow-ups on dues.
- Reconcile policy documents with invoices and payment records.
- Deliver timely, professional customer service addressing policy and coverage inquiries.
- Collaborate with underwriting, finance, and claims departments to manage policies effectively.
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Finance, or related disciplines.
- Proven experience in insurance policy management, quotations, and servicing.
- Comprehensive understanding of insurance terminology, underwriting procedures, and policy documentation.
- Expertise in handling loss run reports and policy endorsements.
- Knowledge of premium collection processes and account follow-ups.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, and insurance management software.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication capabilities.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines within a dynamic work setting.
