Instructional Designer

About the Role

IDR is looking for an Instructional Designer for a remote position with one of its top clients. This role involves collaborating with HR and Talent Management teams to craft engaging educational experiences delivered through instructor-led sessions, virtual formats, and self-paced courses. You'll be part of an impactful healthcare organization creating valuable training materials and learning resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and produce learning modules for classroom, virtual, blended, and self-paced eLearning formats.
• Develop course content including storyboards, prototypes, and design documents for stakeholder feedback.
• Create and manage educational materials such as job aids, workshop resources, slide decks, and digital tools.
• Prepare content targeted at leadership development, onboarding, and talent or manager growth programs.
• Collaborate across departments to perform needs assessments and tailor learning solutions to support organizational objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or an equal level of relevant professional experience.
• Minimum of five years designing complete instructional solutions.
• Advanced skills in PowerPoint with an eye for visual presentation and workshop facilitation.
• Proficient with eLearning development software, including tools like Articulate Rise/360, Captivate, and H5P, plus experience managing LMS content.
• Skilled in digital media and graphic design applications such as the Adobe Creative Suite to create polished educational assets.
