- Offer technical mentorship and guidance to operations personnel through documentation and knowledge-sharing to optimize daily execution and troubleshooting.
- Work alongside business stakeholders to translate service-level objectives into effective scheduling patterns that mitigate risk and maximize uptime.
- Assess and recommend new Control M features and automation tools that enhance operational resilience and reduce manual tasks.
- Participate in problem management activities by performing root cause analyses on recurrent incidents and suggesting architectural and process refinements for improved reliability.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive hands-on expertise with Control M Scheduler environments encompassing calendar setup, dependency management, notifications, and recovery mechanisms.
- In-depth operational knowledge of AS400 systems including batch processes, system commands, job monitoring, and integration with diverse enterprise platforms.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure elements such as operating systems, storage, networking, and middleware to build cohesive and resilient scheduling solutions.
- 12 to 15 years of proven experience in infrastructure and operations managing multi-application ecosystems with a pragmatic, structured methodology.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences and collaborate effectively in hybrid on-site/remote team settings.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for rapid investigation of job failures, performance bottlenecks, and operational risks.
- Familiarity with IT service management frameworks and ticketing systems aligning scheduling operations with incident, change, and problem management.
Certifications
