Role Overview

Bolands Waterford is hiring an experienced, approachable, and highly organised Service Advisor to support its service department in Waterford, County Waterford, Ireland. This is a customer-facing role in a busy automotive environment, ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, keeping operations moving smoothly, and delivering a high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for service customers across face-to-face, phone, and online channels.
• Arrange and coordinate service bookings while maintaining efficient workshop scheduling.
• Prepare accurate quotations, walk customers through the required work, and secure approval before repairs begin.
• Act as the communication link between customers and workshop staff, ensuring updates are shared clearly on both sides.
• Identify opportunities to recommend extra services and maintenance packages when suitable.
• Address customer questions, issues, or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Make sure invoicing, warranty processing, and service records are completed correctly.
• Consistently provide a positive customer experience from start to finish.

What We’re Looking For

• Prior experience in a Service Advisor position or another customer service role; background in the automotive sector is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with good people skills.
• Comfort using IT platforms and appointment booking systems.
• Excellent planning ability and strong attention to detail.
• A proactive, collaborative mindset and a genuine focus on customer care.
