Job description
About the Role
You will take full responsibility for managing Shortlister's HubSpot platform to ensure it effectively captures, nurtures, and tracks every lead generated. Acting as the HubSpot expert, you will handle campaigns, workflows, data management, and reporting, guaranteeing that no leads from multiple sources like website forms, email campaigns, webinars, events, and LinkedIn are missed or lost.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of HubSpot including contacts, properties, lists, segmentation, lifecycle stages, and capacity planning.
- Create and dispatch email campaigns such as the monthly newsletter.
- Develop automated workflows covering onboarding, nurturing, re-engagement, and behavior-triggered actions ensuring follow-up is seamless and automated.
- Set up and upkeep forms, landing pages, and lead capture mechanisms across all channels.
- Maintain accurate lead scoring to reflect the true state of the sales pipeline.
- Perform data hygiene tasks like deduplication, verification, and validated imports to avoid junk records.
- Generate monthly reports detailing leads by source, campaign effectiveness, list growth, and contribution to the sales pipeline.
- Manage the company's LinkedIn page, including content planning, regular posting, engagement, and growth targeted at benefits consultants, brokers, and HR buyers.
- Ensure proper attribution of LinkedIn leads into HubSpot to evaluate channel performance.
- Test and optimize LinkedIn Ads and lead generation forms, taking charge of them if proven effective.
Key Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience with HubSpot Marketing Hub and CRM; this is mandatory.
- Proven ability to build multi-step automated workflows, beyond just sending campaigns.
- Comfortable handling large volumes of data including segmentation, deduplication, imports, and thorough validation before committing.
- Capable of preparing commercial reports and clearly explaining their implications.
- Practical experience managing LinkedIn company page content, engagement, and organic reach.
- Strong short-form written English skills.
- Highly self-motivated and able to independently manage a system rather than process tasks reactively.
Desirable Qualifications
- HubSpot certification, especially in Marketing Hub or Marketing Automation.
- Experience with LinkedIn Ads and lead generation forms.
- Background in B2B SaaS, marketplaces, or platform businesses.
- Exposure to HR technology, employee benefits, or insurance sectors.
Success Metrics
During your initial month, you will help establish performance targets given the absence of previous benchmarks. Key performance indicators include the number of leads captured by source, qualified leads, list growth, campaign outcomes, LinkedIn reach, and contributions to the sales pipeline. Within the first 90 days, success means having all leads captured accurately with source attribution working, at least one active automated workflow, consistent LinkedIn posting, and a monthly report enabling informed decisions.
Benefits & Work Environment
- Opportunities for career growth alongside a knowledgeable and driven team.
- Flexible working arrangements to support a healthy work-life balance.
- Private health insurance coverage.
- 20 days of paid vacation per annum.
- Investment in both personal and professional development for employees.
