Primary Responsibilities
Under supervision, this role involves delivering prompt and accurate assistance to customers, mainly active employees, by handling HR documentation such as benefits, salary, and status changes. Communication occurs through multiple channels including phone, chat, and AskHR cases. The position requires efficient referral of complex or sensitive matters relating to benefits, leaves, payroll, HR policies, training, and work-life programs to the correct departments. This job will be conducted remotely following completion of a mandatory six-to-eight week in-person training program.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED certificate.
- At least nine months of experience in customer service or administrative support within a corporate setting.
- Minimum six months experience working with Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with 10-key calculator functions and basic math aptitude.
- Proficient use of email communication.
- Strong service orientation with a desire to assist customers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- High level of confidentiality.
- Organized with close attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a fast-paced team.
- Capable of managing stressful, high-volume situations efficiently and under time constraints.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Workday HR system.
Compensation and Additional Information
Salary ranges from $17.75 to $28.39 per hour, with precise pay dependent on experience, skills, and location. The position includes a significant remote work component post-training.
