Role overview
Telenor is seeking a people-focused HR Executive to support employees and managers throughout the entire employment journey. The role involves working across the full employee lifecycle and partnering closely with stakeholders across the organization.
You will serve as a reliable first contact for employee questions, offering prompt and practical support while helping foster a positive, inclusive workplace. The position includes a mix of daily recurring work, periodic responsibilities, and ad hoc or project-based tasks.
Because the role handles sensitive personal data, strong ethics, sound judgment, and proper safeguarding are essential.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with major stages of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment coordination, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding.
- Handle essential HR operations such as payroll support, tax submission support, HR administration, employee records, and data upkeep.
- Develop HR reports, workforce metrics, presentation decks, and other materials that inform business and HR decisions.
- Identify opportunities to use technology, AI, and automation to improve operational efficiency and raise the quality of HR processes.
Qualifications and experience
The ideal candidate should have a degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline. A background in a broad HR generalist position, especially with payroll and HR administration responsibilities, is expected. Experience working with Singapore employment law, work pass rules, and HR best practices is important. Prior exposure to supporting stakeholders at different organizational levels is also valuable. Experience in a multinational or international environment is considered an advantage. Familiarity with HR platforms and tools such as Oracle, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 is required.
Personal attributes
The right person will be professional, approachable, and able to earn trust across diverse teams and cultures. Strong integrity, discretion, and care in managing confidential information are essential. You should communicate clearly, work independently, manage priorities well, and bring a practical, solution-focused attitude. An analytical mindset and curiosity for new technology are also important.
Additional information
This position requires access to confidential and personal employee information, so ethical conduct and appropriate data protection practices are a key part of the role.
