Role Overview

This HR Business Partner (Generalist) role serves as a strategic people operations partner, driving business outcomes by building trusted relationships with business leaders and maintaining close connections with employees across all levels. The position demands balancing strategic insight with hands-on execution, managing complex employee issues, enhancing leadership capabilities in performance and talent management, and fostering a positive organizational culture to enrich the employee experience.
Located within our Riyadh warehouse, this role is part of the Saudi Arabia central HR team. Note that this is an individual contributor position without people management responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Design and lead feedback strategies nationwide involving data analysis, roundtable discussions, and pulse surveys.
- Navigate complex employee matters judiciously, balancing employee advocacy with compliance and organizational goals.
- Develop and promote employee recognition programs and lead inclusion and belonging initiatives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on sensitive people issues and assist in complex decision-making processes.
- Leverage data analytics to guide people-related decisions and identify root causes of organizational challenges.
- Support change management and organizational transformation efforts.
- Promote standard work excellence and ensure consistent process implementation throughout the organization.
- Identify and escalate structural, cultural, or systemic risks affecting the workforce.
Typical Day
You will collaborate closely with the country HR leader for Amazon’s Customer Fulfillment business in Saudi Arabia and coordinate with regional HR partners across the MEA-TR area. The generalist nature of this role requires flexibility to focus on multiple areas influencing employee experience, the employer value proposition, and business continuity.

Basic Qualifications
- Over 5 years of HR experience within a global, fast-moving, and customer-centric setting.
- Familiarity with local labor laws applicable in Saudi Arabia.
- Background in environments such as call centers, distribution centers, or manufacturing.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency in Generative AI technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing projects of small to medium scale.
