Role Overview
The HR Assistant position supports daily Human Resources functions including maintaining employee records, facilitating recruitment and onboarding, aiding payroll processes, and ensuring a positive and compliant work environment. This role offers a valuable opportunity to develop or grow a career in Human Resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep employee records and HR documents current and accurate.
- Assist recruitment efforts by posting job ads and arranging interviews.
- Support onboarding and orientation for new hires.
- Organize employee training and monitor its completion.
- Maintain HR policies, procedures, and departmental documentation.
- Handle employee HR inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Help with payroll processing and related administrative duties.
- Participate in HR projects and assigned departmental activities.
- Safeguard confidentiality and accuracy of sensitive employee data.
Qualifications
- At least one year experience in HR or administrative roles preferred.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline preferred.
- Required bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Paylocity experience is desirable.
- Competent with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Strong organizational abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
