About the role
Hyatt Regency Sydney is looking for a full-time Housekeeping Coordinator to join its team at Australia’s largest hotel. The property sits beside Darling Harbour in Sydney’s CBD and offers a relaxed stay for business and leisure guests alike, with 878 rooms, several dining venues, and event spaces.
At Hyatt, the focus is on creating a sense of belonging and turning every stay, interaction, and opportunity into something meaningful. This role supports that approach by keeping housekeeping operations organised, responsive, and aligned with the hotel’s service standards.
What you'll do
In this position, you will act as the main communication link for the housekeeping department. You’ll manage requests coming from Guest Services and housekeeping team members, coordinate room allocations, and help ensure tasks are completed promptly and to the expected standard.
What we're looking for
The ideal candidate will bring prior experience in a similar position, preferably within a hotel environment, along with a strong commitment to delivering a five-star guest experience. You should be highly organised, able to manage time well, and comfortable juggling several priorities at once. Strong attention to detail, confident computer skills, and the ability to work both on your own and as part of a team are important. Opera experience is considered an advantage.
Applicants must have full Australian working rights and be available to work on a seven-day rotating roster.
Benefits and perks
Working with Hyatt comes with a range of benefits, including complimentary global hotel nights after 90 days of service, discounted stays for associates and their friends and family, recognition rewards, learning and development opportunities, a fully laundered uniform, discounted city parking, and the chance to build a long-term career within an international hospitality group.
Additional information
This is a full-time onsite position based in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The role is part of a rotating seven-day roster.
