Role Overview

This position is exclusively for individuals located in Singapore who wish to provide hybrid tutoring, delivering lessons both online through a virtual classroom and face-to-face at the student's residence or an agreed location such as a library or cafe. Tutors will support students from primary level through junior college, covering local Singapore national and international education systems.

Curriculum & Subjects

• Singapore National Curriculum: Primary (P1–P6) with PSLE preparation, Secondary (O-Level and N-Level), and Junior College A-Level (H1/H2).
• Core subjects: English, Mathematics including Elementary and Additional Math, Sciences, Mother Tongue languages, and Humanities.
• International Curricula: Cambridge & Edexcel IGCSE, IB Middle Years Programme and Diploma Programme (HL/SL), International A-Levels.
• High-demand subjects include Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, along with opportunities in English, Humanities, Economics, Business, Computer Science, Accounting, and Psychology.

Eligibility & Candidate Profile

• Open to a diverse applicant pool without mandatory degree requirements.
• Ideal candidates include recent graduates of IBDP, international or local A-Levels with strong academic records; university students; working professionals; as well as experienced tutors and educators such as current or ex-MOE teachers, international school instructors, department heads, and examiners.

Requirements

• Age 18 or above.
• Reside in Singapore and able to travel for live sessions is essential.
• Availability to tutor at least two hours weekly, with flexible scheduling.
• Strong academic background in the subject(s) taught, demonstrated by examination results or tutoring experience.
• For Singapore curriculum tutors: thorough knowledge of MOE syllabus and national exams.
• Fluency in English required, or near-native proficiency for Mother Tongue instruction.
• For online instruction: possession of a laptop or PC, reliable internet connection, and a quiet, well-lit space is necessary.

Compensation & Benefits

• Set your individual hourly tutoring rates and retain 100% of your earnings; a platform commission is charged to students separately.
• Top tutors may earn up to SGD 150 per hour.
