Role overview

Iceland Foods is looking for a Home Delivery Driver in Barry, Wales. This position pays £13.71 per hour and is suited to someone who enjoys staying active, working independently, and interacting directly with customers.

As a delivery driver, you will represent the brand at the customer’s door while ensuring shopping is transported safely and delivered in excellent condition. The role also involves supporting store operations when needed.

What you’ll do

Load the van safely, including handling heavier items and following manual handling guidance.
Drive responsibly and follow all road safety rules and best practices.
Carry out routine van checks before and during use.
Make sure groceries reach customers in top condition.
Deliver a friendly, professional customer experience.
Assist in the store when extra help is required.
Work on your own and manage your time effectively.
Be available for flexible shifts, with working hours that may run between 6:00 am and 11:00 pm.

Who should apply

Applicants must hold a full driving licence that has been valid for at least 3 years.
No more than 6 penalty points should be on the licence.
You should be upbeat, approachable, and committed to good customer service.
You need to be punctual and comfortable working to deadlines.
A strong awareness of road safety is essential.
