Home Delivery Driver

Overview

Iceland Foods is seeking a dedicated Home Delivery Driver to join their team in Kilmarnock, Scotland. This role involves delivering groceries directly to customers, embodying the brand by providing exceptional service and ensuring safe and timely delivery of goods.

Role Expectations

• Follow correct van loading practices including heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Maintain adherence to safe driving standards at all times.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before starting deliveries.
• Ensure that food items reach customers in excellent condition.
• Deliver outstanding customer service as the company's representative.
• Assist with in-store duties when necessary.
• Ability to work alone efficiently while managing time effectively.
• Work flexible shifts that may range from early morning (6am) to late evening (11pm).

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a full driving license for at least 3 years with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Have a positive, friendly demeanor and a passion for delivering high-quality customer experiences.
• Be punctual and capable of meeting deadlines consistently.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding and commitment to road safety principles.
