Position Overview

We are seeking a Household Data Specialist to work on a contract basis, performing remote tasks focused on collecting high-quality video data of common household activities. This role offers compensation of $30 per hour with a weekly commitment of 10 to 40 hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and submit clear, specification-aligned video demonstrations of everyday household chores using a UMI gripper wearable device.
• Adhere strictly to detailed instructions for each task to ensure data meets stringent project standards.
• Incorporate reviewer feedback to consistently improve the quality and accuracy of your recordings.
• Set up and operate the UMI gripper and associated recording equipment to mimic realistic hand movements during tasks.
• Maintain regular and effective communication with the project team, both orally and in writing.
• Keep a consistent workflow to fulfill weekly minimum data submission requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow precise and complex guidelines.
• Good manual dexterity and experience performing precise physical tasks in various household settings.
• Comfortable handling specialized equipment, including wearing and setting up the UMI gripper and related recording devices.
• Ability to accept and implement feedback promptly to enhance task results.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with receptiveness to constructive feedback.
