Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced HIS Product Manager for a client to lead the delivery of innovative digital health and clinical data exchange solutions spanning provider, payer, and member ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the HIS product vision and roadmap focusing on provider integrations, ensuring compliance with NPHIES, FHIR, HL7 standards, clinical data exchange, e-prescriptions, and digital experiences for members.
- Collect and prioritize input from diverse stakeholders, transforming regulatory and interoperability frameworks like NPHIES, FHIR, HL7, ICD-10-AM, SNOMED CT, and Saudi billing standards into actionable product features and project milestones.
- Oversee Agile delivery on a daily basis, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, writing user stories with clear acceptance criteria, supporting user acceptance testing, onboarding providers, and managing go-live activities.
- Coordinate communication across cross-functional teams such as Product Leads, operations, clinical divisions, and external vendors while identifying and escalating risks and dependencies promptly.
- Track, assess and report on product key performance indicators including adoption rates, Net Promoter Score (NPS), and user engagement to guide iterative improvements informed by data and user research.
- Promote a user-centered design approach emphasizing continuous improvement through discovery phases, usability testing, and representing stakeholder interests.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- 5 to 10 years of pertinent professional experience with at least approximately 3 years dedicated to Product Management, Business Analysis, or HIS consulting within healthcare, health insurance, or healthcare technology sectors.
- Educational background in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Informatics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Comprehensive understanding of Health Information Systems (HIS), EMR/EHR platforms, and payer-provider workflows including eligibility checks, pre-authorizations, claims processing, e-prescriptions, and clinical data exchange processes.
- Demonstrated expertise in translating healthcare regulatory and interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7, ICD-10-AM, SNOMED CT, local billing requirements) into comprehensive product requirements.
- Proficient experience managing Agile delivery workflows including backlog management, creation of detailed user stories, conducting user acceptance testing, and integration coordination with various vendors and providers.
- Excellent analytical abilities paired with strong communication and stakeholder management skills, underpinned by empathy for both members and providers within healthcare journeys.
- Adept at operating within regulated, dynamic environments and engaging collaboratively with third-party HIS/EMR vendors.
