Head of QA/QC

About the Role

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) delivers comprehensive and innovative solutions throughout the lifecycle of assets, including licensed process technologies, advisory and technical expertise, design capabilities, energy transition solutions, and smart asset optimization.

We are seeking a Head of QA/QC to oversee, facilitate, and regulate plant maintenance and quality assurance operations, ensuring alignment with company standards and policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement QA plans and process control procedures to guarantee maintenance operations comply with required quality, health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) standards.
• Manage the Corrective Action program along with other quality management systems.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive Quality Management Systems to support organizational objectives.
• Lead and collaborate in internal audits alongside company quality teams.
• Investigate Quality Assurance incidents, including deviations and out-of-specifications occurrences.
• Review maintenance processes to ensure adherence to applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• Coordinate with various departments to address Quality Assurance matters effectively.
• Perform additional quality assurance functions as needed.
• Support contractor teams by promoting compliance and continuous improvements.
• Ensure QA team members receive effective training and manage department budget and administration efficiently for cost-effective, integrated maintenance operations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• Over 10 years of experience in quality control roles.
• Strong expertise in quality control and assurance methodologies.
• Certification with NACE Level 2.
• Proficient in root cause analysis (RCA) techniques.
• Highly organized, proactive, and excellent communicator.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing large teams.
• Strategic thinker, receptive to innovative approaches.
• Ability to deliver results within multicultural environments.
