North Yorkshire Citizens Advice & Law Centre is a charitable organisation delivering free, confidential, impartial advice to about 25,000 people annually, assisting with issues such as finances, benefits, housing, and employment. Grounded in our communities, we dedicate ourselves to improving lives while continuously developing our people and services.

Role Summary

We seek a seasoned professional in learning and development to spearhead our organisation-wide learning strategy. As part of the Senior Management Team, your leadership will shape employee and volunteer growth, ensuring our workforce is equipped with the expertise and confidence needed to deliver top-quality services. Collaborating with managers, you will enhance leadership strength, foster effective learning practices across the organisation, and champion ongoing improvement initiatives. Additionally, you will provide strategic guidance over several key organisational projects, guaranteeing strong governance aligned with our priorities.

Work Environment and Location

This role can be performed remotely anywhere in the UK. Alternatively, hybrid or onsite work is available from our offices in Harrogate, Malton, Northallerton, Richmond, Scarborough, or Selby.

Compensation

The salary offered for this position is £34,527 per year.
