Indicut Designs LLP is a Surat-based manufacturer specializing in women's ethnic wear, particularly kurtis. The company designs and produces over 100 new styles each month for corporate clients and wholesale buyers throughout India. Operations include in-house cutting and stitching alongside a well-established job-work network handling embroidery, printing, and dyeing processes.

Role Overview

As the Head Merchandiser, you will lead the merchandising division focused on kurti production. Your responsibilities encompass managing the Training Need Analysis (TNA), overseeing the entire lifecycle of styles, and supervising job-work vendors involved in embroidery, printing, and dyeing. Leadership of the merchandising team is a core part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the merchandising team specializing in garment production.
• Own and execute Training Need Analysis to enhance team capabilities.
• Monitor and control the style lifecycle from conception to completion.
• Coordinate with job-work vendors for embroidery, printing, and dyeing to meet quality and timeline requirements.
• Ensure continuous improvement in merchandise strategies aligned with company goals.

Requirements

• 8 to 12 years of experience specifically in factory-side garment merchandising; experience in buying houses is not applicable.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage teams effectively.
• Proven knowledge of apparel merchandising and women’s ethnic wear market.
• Competence in vendor management and cost control.
• Diploma in any specialization required.

Additional Information

• Relocation support is provided to candidates moving to Surat.
• Compensation includes a fixed salary plus variable components.
