Role overview
Assets Group is looking for a Head Accountant in Doha, Qatar. The role centers on maintaining accurate financial records, producing reports and statements, reconciling bank accounts, and supporting regular audit activity. Core responsibilities
- Prepare customized reports to support different business requirements.
- Handle preparation of tax-related documents.
- Review, compile, and interpret financial statements.
- Take ownership of budgeting activities and forecasting work.
- Carry out bank reconciliations and contribute to cyclical audits.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a closely related discipline is required.
- The candidate should be able to read, interpret, and analyze financial statements and periodic reports.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is expected.
