Role Overview
Holiday Inn Sydney St Marys is seeking an experienced Guest Service Agent with a background in Front Office operations and Night Audit. The position sits within a lively team and focuses on creating a positive guest journey from arrival to departure.
This opportunity combines front desk work with night audit duties on a rotating roster. Shifts may include mornings, afternoons, weekends, and some overnight work.
What You’ll Do
- Handle guest arrivals and departures, including check-in and check-out processes.
- Respond to reservations, guest enquiries, and service requests.
- Provide consistently high-quality service in every guest interaction.
- Support night audit tasks and complete daily reporting accurately.
- Reconcile payments and help balance accounts at the end of the day.
- Follow hotel safety and security procedures.
- Work in coordination with both hotel and club teams.
What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience in a hotel front office or guest services role.
- Night audit exposure is strongly preferred.
- Experience using IHG systems or similar hotel platforms is an advantage.
- Good attention to detail and strong organisational ability.
- Clear communication skills and a polished presentation.
- A professional, upbeat approach to guest care.
- Current RSA certification, or a willingness to obtain it.
- Availability for a rotating schedule that includes weekends and occasional overnight shifts.
