Position Summary

We are hiring a meticulous Graphic Designer to assist with implementing visual identity systems for our nonprofit client's spring and fall events. The position emphasizes producing large volumes of design assets through template-based approaches while maintaining consistent adherence to established creative guidelines. This is a remote opportunity; however, candidates must reside in Ontario, Canada.

Key Details

Status: Freelance, part-time, seasonal
Workload: Approximately 10-15 hours per week during August to October 2026 and March to May 2026
Location: Completely remote
Compensation: Hourly rate between $45 and $50 (T4 tax status)
Requirements: Candidates must provide their own computer and possess necessary creative design software licenses as no equipment will be supplied

Main Responsibilities

Produce a high quantity of event-related materials including signage, presentations, digital content, and printed collateral based on pre-existing visual identity frameworks
Develop and update templates and layout configurations to enable efficient and scalable asset production
Maintain uniformity and precision across all asset formats, with approximately 80 pieces required per event
Generate production-ready files suitable for print and digital use, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and quality benchmarks
Work closely with the Art Director and project teams to integrate feedback and align with project deadlines

Qualifications and Experience

At least 3 years of relevant experience in graphic design, production design, or brand implementation
A strong portfolio showcasing multi-platform design skills and capability to handle high volumes of asset production
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft PowerPoint, combined with comprehensive knowledge of print and digital production processes
Experienced in using templates, adhering to design systems, and implementing brand guidelines effectively
Ability to juggle multiple tasks within fast-paced, deadline-oriented environments
