Graduate Data Scientist

Overview

Located in London, UK, Branding Science Group invites driven graduates to join their expanding global Data Science team. This role blends data science, healthcare analytics, and innovative technologies to tackle pragmatic business challenges. The position involves developing AI-powered tools, enhancing data access, and supporting automation initiatives within a collaborative environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist in executing data science projects that influence key business outcomes
• Help implement data strategies that enhance availability of internal data resources
• Develop and optimize internal data science pipelines and AI applications
• Conduct quantitative analyses for various client engagements
• Locate and deploy opportunities for automation to improve operational efficiency
• Support the implementation and usage expansion of new data and AI tools across departments
• Contribute to thought leadership activities, including professional social media content and conference presentations
• Work towards boosting AI knowledge and data science skills organization-wide
• Present timely updates and reports to senior management

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

• Academic background with a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or closely related quantitative field
• Genuine enthusiasm for leveraging data science to resolve business issues
• Prior involvement in analytical or machine learning projects through academia, internships, or personal initiatives
• Knowledge of statistical methods such as hypothesis testing, regression analyses, and p-values
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for data handling, modeling, and visualization
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving qualities
• Excellent ability to communicate complex technical content to non-specialists
• Effective organizational and time management competencies
• Proactive learner with high ethical standards and curiosity

Preferred Additional Experience

• Development of software-based technical solutions
• Familiarity with AI or large language model tools like OpenAI or Anthropic APIs
• Experience with Git or similar version control platforms
