About the Company
Austek Roads is a rapidly expanding business focused on asphalt, sealing, and road maintenance. With offices in Redcliffe and the Gold Coast, the company supports clients across southeast Queensland and northern New South Wales, delivering work for city councils and major civil construction firms.
Role Overview
This full-time graduate civil engineering position is based mainly from the Clontarf office, with regular opportunities to work on civil construction sites. The role supports senior team members in project delivery, quality records, safety procedures, and integrated management systems, while also contributing to tender preparation and project administration as the company grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation and upkeep of quality-related project documentation.
- Work alongside project engineers and project managers to help deliver asphalt works successfully.
- Review test reports and check that work meets the required standards.
- Assist in building, updating, and maintaining management systems.
- Contribute to the preparation and submission of tenders.
- Attend project sites in the capacity of a QA representative.
Requirements
- A Bachelor of Civil Engineering completed within the last two years.
- A proactive attitude, strong motivation, and the ability to handle your own workload.
- Versatility and a willingness to learn quickly on the job.
- Good computer skills, especially with MS Excel and complex tasks.
- A current Australian driver’s licence plus access to reliable personal transport; P1 and P2 licences are accepted.
- A valid White Card, or a willingness to obtain one.
- Experience in civil construction is helpful but not essential.
- Current residence in Australia is required.
