Overview

An established architectural practice is hiring a Graduate Architectural Technologist to become part of its growing Birmingham team. The firm works across residential, commercial, and industrial projects and offers an opportunity to build experience in a broad practice environment.

Location: Birmingham

Salary range: GBP25,000 to GBP30,000.

Key Responsibilities

Create technical architectural drawings based on planning layouts
Contribute architectural design support to residential and commercial schemes
Prepare detailed design documentation
Complete and file building regulation and planning submissions

Skills and Experience

A degree in Architectural Technology
Working knowledge of UK building regulations
Experience after qualification in a related position is helpful but not mandatory
Capability with standard industry tools such as Revit and AutoCAD
Strong communication and organisational abilities
Solid detailing and design capability
Good technical understanding with close attention to detail
Ability to perform well both independently and as part of a team
Must live within commuting distance of the Birmingham area
