About the Role

An established global technology firm seeks an experienced Global Vice President of Procurement to direct and innovate its worldwide procurement operations. Reporting to top executives, this role involves crafting global sourcing strategies, enhancing supplier performance, and driving excellence across a multifaceted international environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the global procurement department including regional divisions, category management, and procurement process excellence.
• Formulate and implement procurement approaches emphasizing cost efficiency, quality assurance, supply continuity, innovation, and sustainability.
• Lead initiatives in digital transformation, streamline processes, and boost organizational capabilities within procurement.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to generate commercial value, manage supplier partnerships, and meet global procurement performance indicators.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline; advanced qualifications such as an MBA or procurement certifications are favorable.
• Bring over ten years of leadership experience in global procurement within international enterprises.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge in both direct and indirect procurement, supplier management, contract negotiation, and expertise in manufacturing or project-driven settings.
• Exhibit strategic leadership skills proven through successful transformation efforts, stakeholder engagement, and achievement of significant business outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

• Receive a base salary ranging between €160,000 and €180,000 along with a competitive executive benefits package.
