Role overview
StarX Capital Markets Pte. Ltd. is looking to strengthen its trading team with an FX Trader focused on OTC foreign exchange activity. The position is based onsite in Central Singapore, and the successful candidate will contribute to day-to-day trading operations while supporting compliance and client service.
Key responsibilities
- Join the company’s trading desk and support OTC FX trading activity.
- Improve the trading process documentation and help ensure it aligns with MAS rules and accepted market practice.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as Operations, Finance, and Compliance when client-related concerns arise.
- Speak with clients about trading matters and guide them on how to use the trading platforms.
Required background and skills
- Hands-on knowledge of FX and OTC FX derivatives trading.
- Familiarity with the FX trading infrastructure used in the market.
- Ability to work in both daytime and nighttime shifts on a rotating basis.
- Either already registered with MAS as a Representative or able to clear the required exam for registration.
- Bilingual ability is preferred.
