Full-Time Meat Wrapper

Job Overview

Country Grocer is seeking a motivated and energetic individual for the role of Meat Wrapper at their Cobble Hill location. This full-time role requires someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and interacting with customers.

Schedule Requirements

• Availability for all shifts is required
• Must be able to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Wrap and prepare meat products accurately
• Stock shelves, rotate and face products, and build product displays
• Maintain high safety standards for all operations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Candidate Expectations

• Highly motivated with a proactive approach to work
• Capable of working in cold and wet conditions and performing repetitive tasks using various equipment
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Attention to detail and accuracy with ability to work effectively under pressure
• Strong time management skills; able to prioritize tasks and follow directions
• Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• Committed to delivering excellent customer service and following established procedures and safety practices
• Open to learning and receptive to coaching and feedback

Experience and Qualifications

• Customer service background is advantageous
• Food Safe certification preferred; however, training will be provided if needed

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly wage ranging from CA$18.25 to CA$22.00
