Job description
Role Overview
Grounded is currently seeking a Fulfilment Operator to join their team at the headquarters located in Kikuyu, Kenya. The role involves precise selection, packing, storage, and management of finished products with a focus on First-In-First-Out processes, batch control, traceability, safety, and meticulous attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations
- Accurately pick and pack goods according to established procedures.
- Manage proper storage and handling of products to maintain quality standards.
- Strictly adhere to FIFO principles ensuring correct batch rotation and traceability.
- Prioritize safety measures during all warehouse operations.
- Maintain strong focus on detail to prevent errors in fulfilment.
Candidate Requirements
- Completion of KCSE or an equivalent secondary education certificate.
- Between one to two years of experience in warehouse environments, production, or fast-moving consumer goods preferred.
- Basic proficiency in numeracy and literacy skills.
- Strong attention to detail and high reliability.
- Ability to undertake physical warehouse duties, including safely lifting loads up to 30 kg.
- Adherence to operational processes with prompt escalation of any issues.
