Job description

About the Role

This position supports a locally operated retail store delivering health, beauty, and convenience products with a strong customer focus. The Front Store Supervisor is responsible for directing customer service operations, including cashier management and merchandising activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee cashier and merchandising teams ensuring adherence to store policies and operational protocols.
  • Provide training and continuous guidance to cashiers and merchandisers on their roles and tasks.
  • Implement and monitor all loss prevention measures, manage daily cash office inventory, and maintain cashier tracking documentation.
  • Ensure all store employees comply with the uniform policy and present a professional image to customers.
  • Address customer queries concerning product locations, rainchecks, and resolve issues such as refunds and exchanges within established guidelines.
  • Promote the Customer Service Index (CSI) survey to gather feedback.
  • Maintain merchandising standards by keeping shelves organized, clean, and properly rotated, and manage product displays as directed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and store appearance, follow health and safety regulations, and comply with all store policies and loss prevention procedures.
  • Occasionally perform clerical, banking, and cashier duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Sound planning, judgment, and decision-making abilities.
  • Independent problem-solving skills to ensure optimal store organization and excellent customer service.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Strong organizational capabilities and effective time management.
  • In-depth knowledge of retail products and supply management.

Compensation
