Position Summary
We seek a seasoned and people-oriented Front Office Manager ready to lead a busy department daily. This leadership role involves fostering a welcoming atmosphere for both guests and team members while managing the operations of a diverse Front Office team in a fast-paced setting with varied daily activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Front Office team, promoting a positive, accountable, and high-performance workplace culture.
- Maintain a strong visible presence throughout the hotel, especially during high-demand periods, providing hands-on guidance.
- Manage all Front Office processes to ensure seamless guest arrivals, departures, and interactions.
- Boost guest satisfaction levels, encourage loyalty program enrollments, drive upselling, and monitor department performance metrics.
- Oversee scheduling, labor productivity, and cost control aligned with business needs and budgets.
- Collaborate with Reservations, Housekeeping, and other departments to maximize room allocation efficiency and operational effectiveness.
- Coordinate VIP arrivals, group bookings, special guest requests, and complex situations professionally.
- Evaluate guest feedback systematically to implement service improvements and enhance processes.
- Manage reporting, forecasting, audits, and financial procedures for the department accurately.
- Ensure accuracy and effectiveness of Front Office protocols, systems, and Opera PMS operations.
- Support recruitment efforts, onboarding, staff training, performance reviews, and succession planning initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to brand standards, safety regulations, and emergency protocols.
- Promote Accor’s Heartist® values by demonstrating exemplary leadership in all interactions.
Candidate Profile
- Proven hotel professional with hands-on operational involvement and strong team leadership skills.
- At least five years of experience in Front Office roles with a minimum of two years in supervisory or managerial capacity preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Front Office procedures and expertise in Opera PMS.
- Experience in managing staff rosters, monitoring labor costs, and improving departmental productivity.
- Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, revenue management, and overall hotel performance indicators.
- Passion for coaching, nurturing, and acknowledging team members' contributions.
- Able to handle guest issues and operational challenges with professionalism and composure.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Pragmatic, engaged leadership style, willing to provide frontline support as necessary.
- Flexible to work within a seven-day operation schedule, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
