About Mindrift and the Role

Mindrift is seeking a proficient and adaptable Graphic Designer to contribute to the Tendem project, which integrates AI and human collaboration to execute specialized data scraping workflows. Working remotely on a part-time basis, you will collaborate with Tendem Agents who automate repetitive tasks while you focus on applying expert design skills to transform raw ideas into polished, professional visual assets.

The Mindrift platform fosters connections between domain specialists and AI initiatives led by leading technology companies, aiming to enhance generative AI capabilities through real-world insights worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Create clear, engaging layouts and infographics with a strong visual hierarchy to enhance information readability.
Design compelling, reusable social media templates and impactful single-page documents.
Refine everyday design materials using advanced typography, grid systems, and thoughtful composition techniques.
Convert raw data and conceptual input into professional, visually polished assets tailored to marketing and communication objectives.
Maintain rigorous standards for design quality through checking visual alignment, color schemes, and layout consistency before finalizing deliverables.

Candidate Requirements

Preferably 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in graphic, digital design, or visual communications.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related creative disciplines is advantageous.
Strong expertise in typography, grid principles, and effective visual composition.
Demonstrated ability to create structured visual assets like modern infographics and social media templates.
Proficient user of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma for diverse design tasks.
Ability to adapt designs across formats, including one-pagers and digital templates.
Upper-intermediate (B2) or higher level of English proficiency is required.
Detail-oriented, adaptable, fast-paced approach to managing multiple visual projects simultaneously.
Self-motivated with a strong commitment to producing professional-grade visual assets.
Applications must include an English CV with a portfolio link showcasing relevant graphic design samples; submissions without portfolios will not be considered.

Additional Information

This role is project-based freelance work, with task availability depending on active projects. Workload during active phases is approximately 10-20 hours per week, estimated based on project needs but not guaranteed.

Compensation on this project can reach up to $50 per hour, influenced by contributor expertise and work pace. Rates may differ on other projects available through the platform depending on scope and complexity.
