Fraud Specialist

Overview

The Fraud Operations Specialist role is an entry-level position based in Jacksonville, FL, focused on identifying potential fraudulent activities on credit card accounts and providing outstanding customer service. This position involves rigorous risk assessments to prevent financial damages and protect client identities.

Training and Work Location

Candidates will undergo mandatory on-site training at 14000 Citicards Way, Jacksonville, FL 32258. Post-training, there may be an opportunity to join the Home Office Program, allowing remote work contingent upon performance and adequate technology setup.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate suspected fraudulent transactions on credit card accounts.
• Handle incoming client inquiries and support service-related concerns.
• Provide effective solutions utilizing all available resources with minimal supervision.
• Complete assigned duties promptly and accurately.
• Meet and exceed individual and team performance goals consistently.
• Contact cardholders to verify transactions and confirm possible fraud.
• Ensure a positive customer experience throughout interactions.
• Apply specific verification methods for processing customer information.
• Make informed decisions considering risk, company reputation, and compliance with policies and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in fraud detection or related fields.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Able to manage both inbound and outbound customer calls effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with capability to analyze and organize data.
• Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to remain impartial and respectful within a diverse workplace.
• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.

Work Schedule and Salary Range
