About Linro
Linro is a cloud security company revolutionizing the approach to AI in cloud infrastructure. Traditional security tools presume human oversight, but Linro bridges the gap by integrating AI agents into cloud workflows. Founded in Berlin in 2026, the company is supported by experienced entrepreneurs and operates an active platform serving early customers and partners.
Role Overview
The Founders Associate acts as the right-hand partner to the founding team, providing critical support across diverse areas to free founders for uniquely high-level tasks. This position demands ownership and judgment over a fixed set of duties, encompassing fundraising, go-to-market strategies, team operations, and hiring efforts. The associate will participate directly in strategic discussions shaping Linro's trajectory and will be empowered to execute decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Address key priority tasks from varied functions such as hiring pushes, investor relations, operational coordination, or strategic initiatives.
- Act as a proactive problem solver by identifying and leading efforts to close gaps quickly.
- Own selected domains aligned with individual strengths and the company's greatest needs.
Candidate Profile
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of building trust and enabling effective collaboration.
- Strong judgment and initiative to identify important matters and ensure their completion.
- Agility and decisiveness, capable of rapid execution in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and working without a predetermined framework.
- Technical literacy sufficient to understand database concepts and leverage current AI tools; coding skills not required.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally and represent the company as needed.
- Background in cybersecurity is advantageous but not essential; curiosity in the field is prioritized.
Preferred Experience
- Previous involvement in startup environments, consulting, or venture capital.
- Familiarity with fundraising, go-to-market, or operational activities within early-stage companies.
- Experience or eagerness to quickly master enterprise or B2B software sales.
- Entrepreneurial experience such as leading a project, business, or community.
Work Environment
Linro fosters a remote-first approach across Europe, gathering for in-person meetings quarterly. This role emphasizes real-time collaboration with founders, including travel and flexible location arrangements.
Compensation and Growth
- Opportunity to be integral to a dynamic, well-supported startup from inception, with transparent insight into company operations and direct access to founders and investors.
- The role is designed for growth into leadership positions such as Chief of Staff, operations head, go-to-market leader, or specialized functions.
- Allocation of meaningful equity as an early team member.
Additional Information
This position suits individuals seeking substantial responsibility, steep learning curves, and ownership over challenging, ambiguous problems, rather than a traditional structured role. Applicants are encouraged to share the most complex endeavor they have independently managed from start to finish in their application.
