Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator / Yard Hand to join our Minto, NSW team. This full-time, day-shift role offers consistent hours and diverse daily tasks, coupled with opportunities to obtain additional certifications and career advancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating forklifts to facilitate yard operations
• Loading and unloading trucks, skip bins, and trailers efficiently
• Sorting and categorizing ferrous and non-ferrous metals
• Delivering exceptional service to customers within the yard
• Maintaining yard safety and operational efficiency

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a valid forklift licence
• Demonstrated strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Ability to work autonomously and maintain focus on assigned tasks
• Professionalism and customer-oriented communication skills on-site
• Enthusiasm to gain new qualifications and tickets over time
• Prior experience in scrap metal, recycling, or related fields is advantageous; however, training will be provided for motivated individuals
