Food & Beverage Server at The Fig Tree Restaurant

About the Role

The Fig Tree Restaurant, situated within the grounds of the Dromoland Castle Resort in Newmarket on Fergus, County Clare, is seeking dedicated full-time and part-time Food & Beverage Servers. Full-time staff will work 5 days out of 7, with shifts varying throughout the week. Part-time roles are available from 5pm to 11pm, Monday through Friday.

The restaurant operates seven days a week, offering breakfast from 10:00am to 11:30am, lunch from 11:30am to 4:30pm, and dinner with the last seating at 8:30pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Work a flexible schedule across five days per week, Monday through Sunday.
• Prepare and set tables and serve food and beverages to guests in line with high-quality hospitality standards.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and engage warmly with guests.
• Support events such as private parties and corporate functions.
• Help train junior serving staff to maintain team standards.
• Provide assistance in other food and beverage outlets on the resort as needed.

Candidate Profile

• At least one year of experience in a similar hospitality environment.
• Possess an outgoing, friendly, and engaging personality.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to handle busy service times.
• Exhibit flexibility in scheduling and working hours.
