Job Summary

The role of the Floor Technician involves performing floor maintenance and restoration using various industrial floor care equipment. The technician is responsible for ensuring high standards in floor care across diverse surfaces.

Primary Responsibilities

• Apply principles and procedures for maintenance of hard-surface floors including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and buffing.
• Operate a variety of industrial floor care machines.
• Use automated equipment for cleaning extensive floor areas efficiently.
• Perform carpet and upholstery care tasks such as shampooing, damp surface cleaning, extraction, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
• Conduct maintenance and restoration for all types of floor surfaces.
• Carry out other tasks as directed by management.

Requirements

• Preferred minimum of two years' experience as a floor care technician or in a related position.
• Proficient knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques is essential.
• Ability to adhere to safety protocols consistently.
• Capability to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

Schedule and Location

The position is full-time with open availability preferred. Work hours and days may vary, with further details provided during the interview stage. The job location is at Walker Baptist Medical Center, 3400 Highway 78 E, Jasper, Alabama 35501.

Compensation

The hourly wage ranges from $15.00 to $19.00, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
