Role overview

This is a full-time, on-site position in Doha, Qatar, open to local hires only. The Fire Alarm Technician is responsible for installing, testing, and commissioning fire alarm systems and other low-voltage life safety systems while following company procedures and local rules. The job also includes fault-finding, preventive and corrective maintenance, service documentation, and ensuring systems stay functional and compliant.

You will handle service calls, work with project teams, and support the smooth operation of fire alarm and related life safety equipment. The position also involves direct interaction with clients at site, explaining how systems work, offering basic user guidance, and maintaining a professional customer-focused approach.

Technical and professional requirements

The role calls for hands-on knowledge of low-voltage systems and alarm system installation, setup, and commissioning. Candidates should be able to troubleshoot issues effectively, understand life safety standards and fire protection regulations, and work confidently with fire alarm panels, detectors, notification devices, and related equipment. The ability to read technical drawings, wiring schematics, and system documents is important.
