Role Overview

We are looking to strengthen our Finance team in Berlin by hiring a Financial Controller with solid controlling experience, strong analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of financial operations within an international media company.

You will join a highly skilled team that collaborates closely on all current projects and workflows. Each member handles diverse tasks independently during daily operations. Key Responsibilities

• Plan costs associated with budget and forecast preparations
• Take responsibility for monthly and quarterly financial closings
• Manage cash flow planning
• Perform variance analysis by comparing actual versus planned figures, interpreting deviations
• Provide support and consultation to operational departments with insightful analyses
• Create standard reports and enhance ongoing reporting systems
• Contribute to continuous improvements in processes and systems
• Monitor Group Governance procedures

Candidate Profile

• Completed degree in business administration focusing on finance or controlling
• At least 4 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in the media sector
• Strong skills in MS Office, especially advanced Excel capabilities
• Experience using SAP FI and CO modules is preferred
• Background in international corporate environments is advantageous
• Interest in film as a medium
• Exceptional analytical abilities with a holistic view of financial relationships
• Independent, accurate, and well-organized work style
• Native-level German language skills and fluent English
