Role Overview
The Financial Analyst plays a key role in supporting budget control, preparing management reports, reviewing requisitions and contracts, and monitoring cash flow. This position ensures budget transfers, purchase requisitions, and management reports comply with beIN Media Group's policies and are submitted both accurately and timely. Additionally, the role aims to enhance reporting systems and collaborates with end users to maximize budget utilization.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Timely examination and processing of requisitions, ensuring alignment with approved budgets and organizational policies.
- Work closely with end users to prioritize budget allocations, promoting cost efficiency and identifying savings opportunities.
- Evaluate contracts and related financial requests to confirm alignment with budgetary requirements before approval.
- Assist in compiling and submitting consolidated financial reports for the Group.
- Accurately carry out budget transfers and related journal entries with appropriate approvals and documentation maintained.
- Contribute to the annual budgeting process by coordinating with departments and operating companies, reviewing submissions, and preparing reporting templates.
- Monitor system performance, reporting discrepancies and proposing improvements to the budgeting and reporting team leader.
- Support initiatives aimed at automating and transforming reporting processes to enhance management reporting quality and efficiency.
- Uphold strict confidentiality regarding sensitive financial, contractual, and managerial information.
Educational and Professional Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is mandatory. Possession of professional certifications is highly advantageous.
Experience Requirements
Candidates should have a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a financial analysis or related role.
