About the Role
A rapidly growing company providing payment and financial services in the online gaming industry is looking to hire a Finance and Accounting Manager to join their team in Doha, Qatar.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage comprehensive financial reconciliations involving payment transactions, account settlements, and related files.
- Identify and resolve inconsistencies, escalating unresolved issues promptly until they are satisfactorily addressed.
- Prepare accurate and prompt management accounts alongside financial reports.
- Develop and enhance reconciliation procedures, internal controls, and documentation supporting these activities.
- Assist with the financial month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Communicate with banks, payment processors, and operational partners to address financial inquiries.
- Collaborate with senior management to ensure transparent insight into the company's financial status.
Candidate Requirements
- Extensive experience in financial reconciliation, preferably within payment systems, financial technology, online gaming, or businesses with a high volume of transactions.
- Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent analytical skills.
- Comfortable handling large datasets and proficient with financial software systems.
- A proactive and independent mindset, adaptable to working in a dynamic, less-structured environment.
- Must either reside in or be willing to relocate to Qatar.
